GizmoBloom

Crochet pattern maker, every stitch counted

Make crochet patterns to sell on Etsy: a blanket or a pillow from a picture, a stuffed toy of your own design, or flat shapes like stars, hearts and coasters. GizmoBloom counts every stitch, checks every row and round, and lays out a ready ebook (PDF) in English, French, German and Spanish — with its Etsy listing.

Picture blankets and pillows

  • Any picture becomes a chart: one made with your ChatGPT, your own drawing, or a design you made in GizmoBloom — never another seller's photo
  • Three ways to crochet it: C2C (little square tiles, the easiest for pictures), graphgan (rows of single crochet, for finer details and letters) and granny stitch (clusters with little holes, a soft vintage look)
  • A baby, throw or bed-size blanket, or a pillow cover with its plain back and the joining
  • Repeat the design in one piece, or as squares joined together
  • Paint squares on the chart, choose any background color, merge two colors into one
  • The yarn for each color, in DK, worsted or bulky yarn

Stuffed toys of your own design

  • Write your idea — "a Christmas crocodile with a Santa hat" — and your ChatGPT designs the parts; GizmoBloom counts every round
  • Or start from 8 ready animals (bear, bunny, cat, mouse, fox, dog, pig and panda), each with its own variations
  • See it in 3D, made from the counted rounds: front, side, back
  • Every round checked: it uses all the stitches of the round before and makes its count
  • The yarn for each color, the hook, the safety eyes and the sewing steps
  • A realistic photo of it for the cover, made by your ChatGPT from the exact design

How to make a crochet pattern

Say what you want to make

Crochet → Start here: write it in a few words ("a teddy bear", "a star ornament", "a granny square blanket") and GizmoBloom opens the right maker.

Make the chart or the toy

A picture for a blanket, an idea for a toy, or a shape: GizmoBloom counts it and checks it by itself.

Make the ebook

Choose the languages and press "Make the ebook (PDF)". The listing and its pictures are ready too.

Questions about crochet patterns

Do I need to count the stitches myself?

No. GizmoBloom counts every stitch: the chart is rebuilt from the written rows to check every square, and every round of a toy must use all the stitches of the round before. Crochet a test piece before you sell: the counts are exact, but yarn, stuffing and sewing change the look.

Which pictures can I use for a blanket?

A picture you made: with your ChatGPT, your own drawing, or a design you made in GizmoBloom. Simple pictures with a few colors on a plain background work best. Never use another seller's photo or a brand character: it is their design.

Which languages are the ebooks in?

English, French, German and Spanish: choose one or several, and each language gets its own PDF. The English patterns use US terms, with the UK names where they differ.

Can I sell the patterns I make?

Yes, what you make is yours to sell — on Etsy, your own site or anywhere else. If AI helped with some pictures or words, tick one box: the ebook and the listing then carry the note Etsy and Amazon KDP ask for.

Does it work offline?

The charts, the counting, the checking and the ebooks are made by GizmoBloom on your computer. Your ChatGPT is only needed when you want a new picture, a toy of your own design or a realistic photo.
