How to make a transparent PNG

Why is there a light edge around my design?
The edge has pixels that are almost white. Move the slider to the right to take away more of them, then press Remove the white again.
The white inside a letter or a shape stayed. Why?
At first, only the white connected to the edges of the picture goes, so a white part of your design stays. Tick "Also the white inside the shapes" to take away all the white.
